EYOF ‘Baku 2019’ Operations Committee and Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-stock Company (AzTV) signed broadcasting and partnership agreement.
The agreement, signed by the Executive Chairman of AzTV Rovshan Mammadov and Corporate Director of EYOF ‘Baku 2019’ Elchin Safarov, gives AzTV an exclusive right to broadcast the event for 7 days of competitions and further exploit audio and video materials of the games. The broadcasting agreement will include live coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, final stages of the competition, and award ceremonies.
In addition, all live TV broadcasting will be open to public, which will give access to any person from around the world to watch the games. Noting that AzTV is a national TV and radio channel, Elchin Safarov said that it is a great joy for the country to host this event and support the athletes.
“The agreement gives an opportunity for sport fans to watch the festival from any corner of the world, whereas the amount of the athletes proves that European countries are satisfied with the high-end events held in Azerbaijan, turning Baku into a sports hub,” he added.
“It is a great pleasure for AzTV to be part of such an important international event, putting our country and AzTV on international spotlight, and by exploiting all of our resources, we will ensure the highest level of broadcasting,” said the Executive Chairman of AzTV Rovshan Mammadov.
